It's all about Mia

Sorry, a bit late posting this but below is an example of why nobody in my family line will ever appear on American Idol.

Mia is enjoying being one, chasing Brady around and trying to grab everything he is playing with. Brady does not find this nearly as amusing as Mia does though.

I'm one!

Now that Mia is officially one (April 16), she feels that she can wear fancier clothes and have her hair spiked up circa 1980's style...

Brady loves entertaining his baby sister, especially when she's immobilized and can't catch him.

Crawling and Climbing

And so it begins. This past week Mia finally decided that scooting around on her bum was just not going to cut it for the rest of her life. So she started crawling forwards and climbing up on things. In just one week she went from barely crawling to full steam sprints on hands and knees, and pulling herself up on things. She skipped the whole army crawling stage that Brady went through, likely because she's anxious to run around like him.

One more month and she could be taking her first steps.

Time to break out the stair gates again I guess.
