A tale of two Brady's

For those of you who are outside of the United States, last weekend marked the long awaited arrival of the NFL draft. The draft is the annual fix for football junkies who basically don't know what to do with themselves between February and July. Although we now have Arena football and the NFL Network, nothing compares to the actual NFL season. And last weekend was probably the closest I'll ever come to having my boy drafted in to the NFL.

That's right, all it would've taken was for the NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to accidentally prounounce a syllable and instead of Brady Quinn being drafted, it could've been Brady Chin. Maybe if he had allergies a sneeze would've done it...With the third pick in the 2007 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns choose Brady AHHH-CHHin. We were one sneeze away from being multi-millionaires. So close.

It turned out to be a tough weekend for Brady Quinn though because he wasn't drafted third as most thought, and then waited about 4 hours longer than anyone expected to be drafted. Again, for those not familiar with the NFL draft, this is an eternity. It's like playing the lottery, getting the first five numbers right and then waiting for four hours to wait for the last number to be announced. This was Brady Quinn's Saturday afternoon. Brady chin's was much better though.

The day started with Brady trying to get past the *closed* gate at the top of the stairs (see, I learned)
