Pats Win, Pats Win, Pats Win

Yesterday Brady got all decked out in his Tom Brady jersey for the Pats AFC Championship game, and he was rewarded with a victory and homemade pizza. Mom bought all special ingredients for him to make his own pizza during halftime. This was actually Brady's highlight of the game, with playing with stickers as a close second - you'll see more on that later this week.

Wow Impressive Irene!
MAKING pizza dough? And at tax time no less! Makes my sloppy store bought crust pizza nights look way lame:)

I remember when we were kids you tried to "teach" me to bake, not only did we had to impossibly scoop out a bad egg from the batter, you almost took out my finger with that mixer! Fun times... :D

Hey Irene, Didn't you try to make bread before and it was rock hard. You wanted to feed it to the ducks but your mother wouldn't let you because she thought it would kill the ducks!

Annie,

Let me give you the full details to this story. I had to make the pizza dough due to Tiki's dietary limitations. And, the dough mix came in a packet with "Just add water" as instructions on the side. Thanks for trying to give me more credit than I actually deserve. By the way, the "pizza" aka "frisby" did not turn out as expected. I almost threw up when I had a bite. Say "No" to "Namaste gluten, dairy and egg free pizza dough mix"!

Ivy,

I do remember that incident and we should blame our parents for not buying us the easy bake oven! May be I should request that for my next birthday present.....I may have more success with it!

Eleanor,

When you live in a high rise in HK, there are no ducks around. My mother just told me the birds may not be able to fly after eating my bread since it was really dense. Not DEATH!

Hmmm...looking back, I have not had any luck with this baking thing. Overcooked the 25 lb turkey at Thanksgiving, made a few not so good gluten free apple pies for Tiki, burnt a batch of ginger bread man......the list goes on...

Irene,

I disagree with your baking prowess (or lack thereof). I certainly liked the apple pie you made for Tiki and the gluten free chocolate cupcakes. Sometimes you're only as good as your ingredients.
