Rise and Shine

Since Brady has gotten through his stomach virus, he's been eating a ton and very energetic... and demanding. So if we're one minute late coming to get him in the morning, he is not happy.

Hiking Trip

Monday we took a quick hiking trip through a local trail. Brady made it through without any mosquito bites! And he had a blast riding around in the backpack!

Pool time

Another Memorial Day weekend has come and gone. The difference is that this year Brady is big enough to enjoy it. Since we had such nice weather, Brady broke out the his water entertainment and hosted Cleo on Friday evening for a playdate.

Birthday Boy

Brady has been feeling quite under the weather since last Friday, so he's had a rough birthday week up to today. And then this morning he started showing signs of being his old self. We planned to take today off to take him to the zoo, but we didn't think he was up to it. So we layed low in the morning but he looked so good we went out to the Children's Museum which we all loved. By the end of the day, Brady was almost back to his old one-year-old self, scampering around, pulling himself up on everything, and giggling the whole way.

We knew he was feeling better when he started the day by trying to dive into our box of packing peanuts

365!

Today Brady turns 365 days old, also known as one year. What an amazing year it's been. As in amazingly busy; amazingly tiring; amazingly fun; and amazingly life changing. We wouldn't trade this past year for anything because Brady has put a smile on our faces every day.
