A day at Houghton's Pond

Over the holiday weekend we found a great little pond and beach that Brady really enjoyed. He loves the beach and playing in the water.

Brady's birthday pictures - part deux

We lucked out this year and had a great weather day for Brady's birthday party, so the kids could enjoy playing the backyard.

Brady was attached to my hip most of the day because he wasn't feeling well, but by the end of the day he was feeling a little better.

The Weekend of Milestones

Well, our little boy is now officially two years old and our little girl is also one full month old, and we celebrated both milestones this past weekend. Needless to say, it was a long weekend but there were lots of photos taken. So I'll drip them out throughout the week as best I can.

We'll start with Brady's party, since he's the oldest...

Brady loves diggers. He points them out every time we pass one in our neighborhood. And since we have a house being built across the street, every day he looks at the digger.

Unfortunately, Brady woke on his birthday with a fever, so all day he took his periodic doses of medecine, which he always enjoys.

On the eve of birthday #2

Terrible Two's? Maybe those are coming, but on his last night before officially entering the Terrible Two status, Brady reminded us that sometimes he will be a Hillarious Two.

Tonight when getting changed into his pajama's, Brady stood up and exclaimed "Two nipples!" and then proceeded to point to his nipples.

Then later right before going to bed I smelled something that implied he needed a diaper change. I asked him if he pooped and he got up and said "Yeah, Brady pooped! Something in there!", pointing to his bum.

Hopefully the coming year will have as much laughs as terrible-ness.
