Welcome to Monkey-see, Monkey-do week at Chinny, Chin and Chin. This Thanksgiving week my brother Gary's family came home to visit and it was Brady's first time being able to follow his cousins Maddie and Garrett around. And in 4 short days, his vocabulary exploded ("Maddie" being his new favorite word) and he learned to do several new things. Just like NFL rookies have 'break out games' to show they are more than just a rookie, Brady had his break out week this week to prove he is no longer just a baby and he is ready to be a big brother.

In the first edition of Monkey-see, Monkey-do, Brady shows he wants to play pool (another work he repeated over and over and over this week).

Today we got a small burst of warm weather, so we took advantage of it and tried to pick up as many leaves as we could. This is Brady's first year being mobile during leaf season, so he was predictably excited, but surprisingly helpful.

Surprise surprise

Last week Brady got a few pleasant surprises. First our friend Missy came to visit from southern Cal and then Mom came home with a present from one of her friends. Woo hoo! He had a ton of fun. He's learning new things every day and really loves new things. So he's really going to love Christmas this year I think.
